Encourage a Young Writer Day Contest
AND THE WINNER IS....
Every year, National Encourage a Young Writer Day, is celebrated on April 14th. At Enhanced DNA Publishing, we wanted to do just that – encourage young writers.
We had twenty-two young writers enter the Enhanced DNA Encourage a Young Writer Day contest. Each of them demonstrated their vivid imagination, ability to tell a story or engage the reader in their life (whether the story was non-fiction or fiction) As a result, the judges had a difficult time narrowing the entries to the 4 top finalists and ultimately, the winner. To that end, we are pleased to announce that the winner of the Encourage a Young Writer Day contest is:
RILEY BOERGER
and the title of the winning entry is
"6 Weeks"
When we notified Riley that she had the winning entry, she wanted to share this with all of you:
"Hi my name is Riley Boerger, I’m am a 15 year old from a small town in Washington and my story 6 weeks is the story of what it is like to live with a chronic illness while being a teenager. This story is a true story and I am so excited for all of you to get to read it!"
We are so excited to offer Riley THREE MONTHS of author coaching and support to get "6 Weeks" published - at no cost. This includes:
- manuscript review
- editorial services
- cover creation
- paperback publication on Amazon
