FROM MY HEART TO YOUR HEART:  The Impact of Love
 
This is a collection of poems – short, long and other tidbits – that I have written over the course of over 40 years.  For the most part, they have languished in notebooks, pocketbooks, daily planners and a variety of other places. Whenever I felt the prompting, I would jot down whatever thoughts that came to mind, and tuck them away – often to be forgotten.
 
Over time, I’ve become increasingly aware that whatever skills, talents, abilities or passions the Lord has gifted us with are not for us only.  No matter how insignificant or ordinary we may think them to be, they are to be shared with others, not hidden under a bushel, so to speak.
 
This, then is my offering to God and to you, in hopes that you may be encouraged and uplifted by some message that I have been inspired to write.  I further hope that you, too, will find the inspiration and courage to share the God-given gifts and talents that only you possess.  Please know that your very own piece of the puzzle must be shared so that the “Big Picture” may be made whole.
