Vonciel Parrish Merritt

Vonciel Parrish Merritt is the daughter of the late Jefferson and Annie Parrish. She was born in Pulaski (Candler) Georgia and raised in Metter, Georgia. She is also the granddaughter of the late Minnie Byrd, whose death in 1978 first inspired her to take pen to paper and begin this poetic journey.

"Von" now resides with her husband, Leander Merritt in Indianapolis, Indiana.
